1. If I can't be there on my moving day can someone else be there in my place to sign for the pick up?
Yes. Someone else can act on your behalf on pickup/delivery as long as you sign a "Third Party Authorization" form before your moving day.

2. What if I haven't finished packing by my scheduled moving day?
If you only have a small quantity of items left to pack, your movers can often complete this on moving day; however, it is important to understand that this service will add to the total cost of the move.

3. I have a few prized possessions that I need treated with extra care. How can I guarantee this?
As far as jewelry and other small valuables, by law, we cannot move them. You will need to carry them with you. As for larger items - such as art, antiques, musical instruments, special collections, or other items of great personal meaning and value - point these items out to your movers during the walkthrough on your moving day so that they can take the necessary steps to ensure for their proper care.

4. How do you keep track of my items?
On moving day, each individual item is labeled with a bright colored 2"x2" sticker including a unique item number - your job number and your personal name. Then it is carefully added to an organized inventory sheet which you will get a copy of at the time of pick up.

5. Is it possible to move during inclement weather?
Yes. We are equipped to move during rain, sleet, or snow, as long as it's physically possible. However, in order to keep costs down, we recommend that you shovel, rake, or otherwise clear the access ways in preparation for the mover's arrival.

6. How are my items separated from other people's items on the truck during the cross country portion of the move?
Every shipment is separated with dividers inside the trailer, so shipments do not touch each other.
